My friend and former colleague Joseph Hall insisted that Antonio’s Nut House was a nice place for me to visit, so I’m here. At first glance, it looks like… some strangeness. But here I am.

Another fun day at work, followed by me returning to a place I frequented 20 years ago when I worked here for Tandem Computers, but haven’t been to recently: Harry’s Hofbrau. It’s a cafeteria-style place… your plate gets pushed along through a dizzying array of food while you select yes or no to each item. And then, you seat yourself, and get your own drinks from the bar. Well, it does save on the tipping.

I’m working for a large old-school internet giant this week in Silicon Valley. Thought I would return to a brewpub that I hadn’t seen in a few years: the Faultline Brewing company. Same great beer, and now free wifi. Yeay.
